Check out this Hit The Floor interview with Mikey & Sam as a Download Festival Exclusive. Enjoyy :)
Well here’s an official review from the Download festival website.
Mallory Knox play the Red Bull Bedroom Jam Stage.
What begins as a sparsely populated Red Bull Bedroom Jam Stage is soon filled to the brim as Mallory Knox begin to blast their brand of melodic alt-rock sunshine to a crowd who desperately need it after the miserable weather that marked the beginning of this year’s Download Festival.Immediately whipping the tent into a hive of energy, the Mallory Knox boys put their all into their performance, with drummer Dave never faltering once which in turn keeps the rest of the band perfectly in time and ultimately aiding them in their flawless delivery of songs such as Keeping Secrets and Oceans. It is difficult to keep track of band members as they fly around the stage and main vocalist Mikey is purely distinguishable due to his lack of an instrument, such is the contribution of the other band members on vocals.A lone security guard at the front looks quite frankly terrified at the scenes before him, such is the passionate reaction of the crowd here in The Red Bull Bedroom Jam tent this afternoon.Mallory Knox provide a performance that thoroughly deserves this reaction and admirably seem truly humbled by this display of adoration, exiting the stage with a thousand declarations of thanks.
Quite frankly we are more than disappointed that their set is finished, this has been fucking phenomenal. Trust us when we say you should be GUTTED you weren’t there.Words by Cheri Faulkner
